AI in Healthcare Chatbots: Enhancing Patient Engagement and Support
Abstract
Healthcare chatbots are leveraging AI to provide 24/7 patient support, answer queries, and assist in preliminary diagnoses. This paper examines the role of AI-driven chatbots in improving patient engagement and reducing the workload on healthcare providers. It highlights advancements in natural language processing (NLP) and conversational AI for delivering accurate and empathetic responses. Challenges such as chatbot reliability, data security, and maintaining human oversight are also discussed.
