Abstract

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are among the leading causes of mortality worldwide. AI is transforming cardiovascular care through early detection, risk prediction, and personalized treatment plans. This paper explores AI applications in analyzing ECGs, cardiac imaging, and wearable device data to detect arrhythmias, heart failure, and other CVDs. It highlights the integration of AI with clinical decision support systems and discusses challenges such as data standardization, algorithm validation, and ethical concerns regarding patient autonomy.
