AI-Enhanced Blockchain for Autonomous Vehicles: Security and Decision-Making
Abstract
Autonomous vehicles (AVs) rely heavily on AI for decision-making in real-time, but the security and reliability of these systems are critical concerns. This paper presents an AI-enhanced blockchain framework for autonomous vehicles, focusing on improving security and decision-making processes. The blockchain component provides a secure and immutable record of all vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communications, ensuring data integrity and preventing unauthorized access. AI algorithms are then applied to this data to optimize route planning, collision avoidance, and traffic management. Smart contracts are used to automate and enforce safety protocols, such as emergency braking and lane changes. Through simulations and real-world testing, we demonstrate that the AI-enhanced blockchain framework improves the safety and efficiency of autonomous vehicles by providing a secure and reliable foundation for AI-driven decision-making.
