AI-Augmented Facial Emotion Recognition for Remote Counseling and Mental Health Support

Abstract

This research introduces an AI-augmented system for facial emotion recognition in remote counseling sessions conducted via mHealth platforms. The system provides real-time emotional feedback to counselors, enhancing the quality of mental health support delivered remotely.
